SpenceHacks is The Spence School’s hackathon. Participants will attend workshops covering various STEM topics and can also compete by creating projects responding to the prompt code for a better world. Any Middle or High School student is welcome to attend. Sign up coming soon!
A hackathon is an event where people who are interested in STEM can work together on software, competitions, and learn new ideas. Many hackathons have a particular purpose or aim in mind. This aim can relate to equity, social justice, or other current events.
SpenceHacks 2025 will be held in person at The Spence School in Manhattan on the Upper East Side. To register, all you have to do is click the link to fill out a GoogleForm. After signing up, please be on the look out for emails from us, especially as we approach the hackathon date.
You will be able to attend various workshops and listen to talks ranging across a variety of topics in STEM. Additionally, you will be able to participate in a competition where you will create a project responding to the prompt code for a better world.
