A hackathon is an event where people who are interested in computer programming can work together on software. Many hackathons have a particular purpose or aim in mind. This aim can relate to equity, social justice, or other current events.
SpenceHacks will be held on a Saturday in 2025.
We would still love to have you! Many of our workshops are introductory and are a great place to start if you’re interested in STEM. Additionally, we have a division of our competition aimed for beginners.
SpenceHacks is a hackathon hosted by The Spence School based in New York City, held in person this year. A student participating in SpenceHacks 2024 will attend workshops, talks, and have a chance to compete in a project-based contest!
Any middle or high school student!
