The Contest

Everyone will have the chance to submit projects in response to the prompt code for a better world. Projects will be voted on by a panel of judges which will be available on the day of the hackathon. Participants will create one GoogleSlide explaining their project, including all relevant links and images. Teams can be of 1-2 people.

  • Your GoogleSlide will contain a description of your project, any relevant images/links, and may contain a video that is up to one minute long.


Prizes

Projects will be judged on the technical difficulty of their implementation, their creativity, and the potential impact of their idea under the theme Code for a Better World. Projects will be judged in the following categories, and winners will receive the corresponding prize:

Honorable mentions will receive SpenceHacks t-shirts.


Raffle

Everyone who attends SpenceHacks and SpenceHacks workshops will be able to enter into a raffle to win prizes from our sponsors, including SpenceHacks stickers!
