Everyone will have the chance to submit projects in response to the prompt code for a better world. Projects will be voted on by a panel of judges from the Spence School. Participants will create one Google Slide explaining their project, including all relevant links and images, that may contain a video that is up to one minute long. Teams can be of 1 or 2 people.
Projects will be judged on the technical difficulty of their implementation, their creativity, and the potential impact of their idea under the theme Code for a Better World. Projects will be judged in the following categories, with the following prizes:
Best Project (individual): Apple 11 inch iPad (128 GB) in Silver
Best Project (group of 2): Two Sony SRS-XB100 Wireless Speakers
Best Beginner Project (individual): SpenceHacks tote bag
Best Beginner Project (group of 2): Two SpenceHacks tote bags
